COPY EXAMPLE 1:

In Episode 79, Glenn brings up a great point early on in the episode Having a set personal agenda can get you into trouble.

Being hyper focused on taking one specific route or making it to the summit by a certain time can blind you from noticing changing conditions or recognizing how personal factors might be affecting your day.

Slow down and step back to assess the situation - is there a safer route? Am I in the right frame of mind to continue climbing today? Is this particular route above my skill level? Is this risk worth taking?

When we are able to get out of having a "go, go, go" mindset and can let go of our personal agenda, we are then able to become more accepting of sometimes necessary changes that might happen during your journey. It isn't a sign of weakness to stop and try again another day. That decision might just save your life!

As always, #PlayhardandBesmart
