BLANDFORD NATURE CENTER: COMMUNITY EVENTS INTERN
As an intern for Blandford Nature Center, I helped to facilitate a number of community events including Bands at Blandford, Grand Rapids Symphony Umbrellaphant, and Nature Discovery Days. I also created and managed my own event, Starry Night at Blandford. The event, unfortunately, was cancelled due to bad weather but Blandford has continued to use my outline for the Starry Night Event (their next one is scheduled for October 3rd this year!)

Although my time with the MEC was short (I was moving for a full time position in Holland at the time), I got first hand experience gathering survey data at Hope College and a number of my research tables were featured in the published study
